The Acer Aspire 5742Z laptop is an upgraded version of the older Acer Aspire 5741Z. This laptop was released in 2011 and much like all notebooks and laptops released in 2011 this one only came with two operating systems being Windows 7 as well as Windows 8. The all black laptop was a good seller and you can still find them on the secondhand markets in India. Their specs might not be what you can get in 2014 however it is still a great laptop to have.

The laptop came with 3 video options such as the Chicony, Sunyi as well as Liteon. The turbo-boast driver for this laptop was something new for Acer but had been used before in the 1990’s when computers came out first. The drivers below are the latest from Acer and comes from their software server and mirror. Note that some drivers are both 32bit and 64bit in one file.
